My classroom is beginning to feel like a classroom, many thanks to my husband (Super Hot Peppers), and a few more thanks go out to our fantastic custodial crew!
Here are a few pictures to update you all on the progress:
(If you want to see a before, you could peep a few of the photos in a prior post.)
Our meeting area. My friend over at Fair Weather Furniture is going to help me make
a bench and a couple o' stools. One of the amazing custodians grabbed
that wonderful longish-tallish bookshelf for me.
This is a shot towards my desk. I love the round table in the center of the room,
it was the hubster's idea. Orbiting around the center table are 6 groups
of 4 tables (I currently have 23 students.)
As I am sure you all know, hanging items on walls can sometimes be tricky.
That is all I am going to say.
I did pick up the carpet/rug at Home Depot--not a bad price either. I like it.
I also would love to take a minute to thank Tori over at Tori's Teacher Tips for the
fantastic Animal Election and Math Daily 3 bundles. I have looked them over and can hardly wait to use them in my classroom!
I was also lucky enough to grab Writing Task Cards from Tonya's Treats for Teachers, you should make sure and check out her almost 500 giveaway!
I am also anxiously and patiently waiting to hear from Creating and Designing for my new blog design--I can hardly wait!
Well, I need to buy some printer ink.
